The first V12 outboard gearcase offers uncompromising performance and reliability for commercial users. The 7.6-litre displacement and four-cam design produce high torque to easily plane large boats and move heavy loads.

Automatic two-speed transmission

The two-speed transmission has no problem transferring the 500 horsepower to the gearcase, delivering maximum torque and excellent acceleration in first gear to get heavy boats quickly on plane before the transmission smoothly shifts into second gear. No jerky gear changes. No restrictions. Just smooth, efficient power.

Independently steerable transmission

Thanks to the electro-hydraulic controls, the steerable gearbox responds instantly to steering commands. Since the engine doesn't move above water, there are no distractions - just precise maneuvering in tight spaces and effortless, fluid handling on open waters.

Counter-rotating propellers

The new series of twin propellers has been expertly designed to exploit the full potential of the 500 hp. The new propellers, arranged in opposite directions, bring the boat up to plane quickly and efficiently, while ensuring excellent handling at low speeds and optimal fuel economy when cruising.

Exceptionally quiet and smooth running

A more robust, refined next-generation Advanced Midsection (AMS) mounting system encloses the engine to isolate noise and vibration, while careful tuning dampens intake noise and virtually eliminates injection noise.
